    About me

I am an artist and illustrator, creating bespoke card designs and illustrations.

All my work is hand-drawn using watercolour and ink.
I can provide my illustrations as original work or scanned (RGB) in PDF format.

I create one-off illustrations for individuals or companies for use in cards, books or as a gift.

I live on the Cheshire/Shropshire border with my husband, 4 rescue dogs and 4 bantam hens!

We have rehomed many dogs over the years and all give me constant inspiration for my art.

I have designed and created bespoke handmade cards for local companies and am happy work with clients
to make each illustration special to you.

I have illustrated children's books and have recently finished working on two further books and can provide a design and layout service.

I am available for commission work, so if you would like to discuss your individual requirements or ideas,
please feel free to email me:

Sparky and Friends book

Join Sparky on his journey through the garden, meeting all his friends.

Sparky is based on one of our rescue dogs and is a fun and light-hearted book and has
colourful pictures which children can engage with.

A light and airy story, full of fun with incidents such as the spider “waiting for his dinner” and
Sparky “going cross-eyed” looking at the butterfly.

I wanted to tell this story because I think it is relevant to everyday life,
especially for children growing up with all the pressures that life can bring to conform and fit in.

It is also a good introduction to nature and the creatures you can find in your own garden or local park.

A book which can shared and read aloud using different voices for each creature!

This is a "tail" you don't want to miss!

This book is aimed at 5-8 year olds but can be enjoyed by any age!

I have chosen Comic Sans typeface to make it accessible for more children, as this font is

recommended for people with dyslexia.

Other Books

Mrs Marmalade's Cat

Said the Spider ... to the Fly

During 2023 I have was lucky enough to work on two more children's books.

"This is a true story about a very special and inquisitive cat called Oscar and how he used up eight of his nine lives in one single adventure."

The author had seen my illustration work and thought it would fit really well with her story. She approached me early last year and asked if I could do the illustrations for her as well as the book design and layout.

It was a fun project to work on and it was published in November 2023.

It is well worth a read!

"This is a story about a spider called Alfred and his journey of discovery!"

My sister had written this story many years ago for her grandchildren and more recently had done some drawings to illustrate it.

It had been an ambition of hers to see it in print (just for family and friends) so using my design, layout & print knowledge, I helped her create her dream.
